Backup & Copy
Save your server's settings as a file, bring them back later, or copy them to another server you manage - set up a second server in a minute instead of an afternoon.
What is included
Settings only. XP, Boovies, invites, tickets, starboard posts and other member data are never part of it. You pick the groups: XP & Leveling, Invite Tracker, Welcome & Goodbye, Auto Roles, Temp Voice, Moderation, Anti-Nuke, Tickets, Suggestions, Giveaways, Starboard, Counting, Birthdays, Economy (settings and shop items), Custom Commands, Guild Tag Roles and the Scheduler.
Export
- Open Dashboard › Backup & Copy and tick the groups you want.
- Click Download settings file. You get a small JSON file named after your server and the date - keep it somewhere safe.
Import
Pick the file and click Import into this server. The selected groups are replaced with what the file holds.
- A file from this server restores the settings exactly - a backup from before a change.
- A file from another server copies its settings here. Channels, roles and categories belong to the other server, so those picks are cleared and you choose them again here. Entries that are nothing but a role (level roles, auto roles, shop items with their role) are skipped - the result tells you what to redo.
- Server Premium fields (for example the Hall of Fame or stream/camera XP rates) and entries above a free limit are only imported if this server has Premium.
Every import is written to the Change Log with the old and new values, so nothing is lost. The bot picks the new settings up within seconds.
Copy to another server
Choose the target under Copy to another server - you need Manage Server there and the bot must be on it - and click Copy settings. It is the same as an export and an import in one step, including the cleared channels and roles.
