Introduction
FAQ
Quick answers to the questions we get most often.
General
Is Booversum free?
Yes. Leveling, invite tracking, moderation, anti-nuke, giveaways, temp voice and almost everything else is free. Premium adds extras like double XP, custom rank backgrounds, longer Insights and higher limits.
Why does the bot need these permissions?
Each permission belongs to a feature: Manage Roles for level and reaction roles, Manage Channels for temp voice, View Audit Log for anti-nuke and invite tracking, and so on. Booversum never asks for Administrator.
Does Booversum work on more than one server?
Yes. Server levels are separate per server. Your global level counts across every server that uses Booversum.
Leveling
A member levelled up but didn't get the role.
The Booversum role has to be above that role in your server settings. Also check the role isn't managed by another bot or integration.
Why don't I see a level-up message?
Set a channel under Dashboard › Level-Up Channels or with
/set_levelup_channel, and make sure the bot can send messages and attach files there.Do global levels use my server's XP rates?
No. Global levels always use the same fixed rates on every server, so nobody can farm global XP with custom settings or boosts.
Invites
Some joins show an unknown inviter.
That happens with vanity URLs, server discovery and some bots. Booversum shows a separate text for those joins, which you can edit in the Invite Tracker tab.
The bot was offline - are those joins lost?
No. When it comes back, Booversum compares the invite uses with what it saw before and recovers the missed joins as far as possible.
