Custom Commands
Build your own slash commands for your server - /rules, /links, /8ball or /notify - with text or embeds, random answers, roles and link buttons. No code needed.
Create a command
- Open Dashboard › Custom Commands and click New command.
- Give it a name (a–z, 0–9, - and _) and a description - Discord shows both in the command list.
- Write the answer: a message, an embed or both. The preview on the right shows how it looks in Discord.
- Optionally add link buttons, role actions, restrictions or a text input.
- Click Save command. It shows up in Discord right away - only on your server.
Answers
An answer can be plain text, an embed (title, description, colour, image, thumbnail, footer, title link and fields) or both. These placeholders are filled in when the command is used:

Random answers
Add up to 10 answers with Another answer - the bot picks one at random each time. Perfect for /8ball, jokes or greetings.
Images
Use Upload image under the image fields. The picture is stored by Booversum and never expires - unlike links copied from Discord, which stop working after about a day.
Link buttons
Up to 5 buttons under the answer, each with a label, a link and an optional emoji - for your website, shop or rules.
Roles
A command can give, take away or toggle up to 5 roles of the member who uses it - great for /notify or /pronouns. A command may also do nothing but change roles; the member then gets a short private confirmation.
Who and where

| Cooldown | Seconds a member has to wait before using it again. |
| Only visible to the user | The answer is shown only to the member who used it (ephemeral). |
| On / off | Switched-off commands disappear from Discord but stay saved. |
Members with Manage Server can always use every command.
Text input
Switch on Ask for text and the command gets a text option, e.g. /8ball question: Will it rain?. Whatever the member types appears wherever you put {input}.
Showing up in Discord
Commands are registered with Discord every time you save, switch one on or off, or delete one - they appear and disappear right away. If Discord couldn't be reached, everything is still saved: click Sync with Discord to try again. Names of Booversum's own commands (like /rank) can't be used.
