Level Cards

Instead of an embed, Booversum renders an image for the member who levelled up - with their avatar, name, level and stats. Every category has its own card.

Set up a card

  1. Open Dashboard › Level-Up Channels › Message Editor, pick the category and set the style to Level card.
  2. Choose one of the 16 templates and a layout preset.
  3. Change background, colors, fonts, border and avatar shape in the editor.
  4. Drag elements with the mouse - or click one and move it with the arrow keys (Shift = 10 px).
  5. Optional: add a text above the card, a normal message where {mention} really pings the member.
  6. Send test, then Save message.

Sharp HD cards

Cards are 1200 × 400 px and rendered in double resolution, so they stay sharp in Discord. Emojis on the card - badges, emojis in names - are drawn as images; animated emojis show as a still picture.

The preview in the editor is rendered by exactly the same code the bot uses, so what you see is what your members get.

What can go on the card

  • Avatar, name and the new level
  • XP, levels climbed, messages or time
  • XP boosts, global and guild badges, level role
  • The VIP badge for Premium users

Every placeholder works on the card too. Empty lines are left out.
