XP Settings & Boosts
Tune how fast members level up: custom XP rates, reaction XP, role boosts, voting bonuses and 24-hour double XP events.
XP rates
Under Dashboard › Server XP Settings you set the XP per chat message and per voice, stream and camera minute (max 1000 each), and choose the level formula and base XP per level. After changing rates, Booversum recalculates everyone's levels in the background.
Reaction XP
Members can earn chat XP for adding reactions, with a 10-second cooldown per user.
Level formulas
The formula decides how much more each level costs; the base XP is the price of level 2, and every other level scales with it. With base 100:

| Logarithmic (Flattening) | 50 % more each time the level doubles: 100, 150, 150, 200 … - ever flatter. |
| Plateau | 10 % more per level up to level 41 (5× base), then the same for every level. |
| Randomized | Random costs between 0.5× and 1.5× base - fixed per level, so nobody ever loses a level. |
The panel on the right of the settings shows the XP for the first 10 levels and how the formula would change the levels of your 10 most active members - before you save.
Suggest base
Switching formulas changes everyone's level. Click ✨ Suggest base next to the base XP: Booversum tries every base from 1 to 1000 and picks the one that keeps your most active members closest to the level they have now. If a formula is simply much steeper or flatter than your current one, it tells you so. The field is only filled in - nothing changes until you save.
Role XP boosts
Under Dashboard › XP Boosts you give roles an XP multiplier, e.g. +40% for Server Boosters. You choose which activities the boost applies to, and the boost shows up in level-up messages.
Double XP event
A one-time purchase: 24 hours of doubled server XP for everyone - chat, voice, stream and camera. Start it from the XP Boosts tab or with /xp_event start. Starting another one while one runs adds 24 hours.
Vote bonus
Members get +10% XP for 12 hours for voting on top.gg and another +10% on Discord Bot List - up to +20%.
Excluding channels and roles
With the XP blacklist you can stop XP in certain channels or for certain roles - useful for bot or spam channels.
