Auto Responses
When someone writes a keyword, the bot answers. “What's the IP?” → the IP, “how do I get a role?” → the link to your roles channel. Members don't need to know a command - they just ask.

How many
5 auto responses for free, up to 50 with Server Premium. Each one can have up to 10 keywords.
Set one up
- Open Dashboard › Auto Responses and click New response.
- Enter the keywords - one per line, e.g.
ip,server ip,how do i join. - Choose what the bot answers with: text, an embed or just an emoji reaction.
- Optional: only in certain channels, ignore your team, a cooldown, delete the member's message.
- Type a test message under Try it to see whether the bot would answer - then Save. It is live within 30 seconds.
How a keyword must appear
| Option | When the bot answers |
|---|---|
| as a word | The default. “ip” fits “what's the ip?” but not “zip”. Best for most keywords. |
| anywhere | Also inside other words - “gg” fits “eggs”. Use it carefully. |
| the whole message | Only when the message is exactly the keyword, e.g. “!ip”. |
| at the start | When the message begins with it, e.g. “help …”. |
Upper and lower case never matter, and extra spaces are ignored.
Good to know
- The bot answers once per message - the first response in the list whose keyword fits.
- The cooldown counts per channel: with 30 seconds, the same response answers at most twice a minute in one channel.
- Bots, webhooks and members with an ignored role never trigger a response.
- In the answer you can use
{user},{user.name},{server}and{channel}. Only the member who asked can be pinged - never roles or @everyone. - The same keyword can't be used by two responses - the second one would never answer.
What the bot needs
In the channels: Send Messages (and Embed Links for embeds, Add Reactions for reactions). To reply to the message it needs Read Message History, to delete it Manage Messages.
